Comments and Ruminations by the Students of Ellen Spiro's Intro to Documentary at the University of Texas, Austin
I used to go to this mall all the time for training for a youth leadership camp sponsored by Rotary Clubs of Texas - I was a counselor there for a year. This mall always made me laugh, and I guess it's kind of bittersweet that the Lipan people are getting a museum there. I guess any museum is better than no museum, but like 10 people shop at this mall, so...But, I'm excited to see your project.P.S. - The silos you filmed near the end of this video was where I had my first car accident.
Some really good footage. Hope your trip went well. I can't wait to see the finished project!
very nice how the radio harmonica blends with the train sounds at the end.Prof. Spiro
